each time i leave my eyes wide open
scorched are they from what they see
i never learn to check emotions
my soul will be the death of me
tired i am of false beginnings
wrapped around a cloud of dust
i never get to spend my winnings
once again my bubbles bust
so round once more to my begining
chasing my non existing tail
my patience long but now is thinning
everythings behind me now
so on i go to a new story
eyes wide open once again
searching for my one true glory
along the path that stays the same
