Thought you cared

Thought you cared for me,

thought I was like the summer sun,

longed to be near you,

now I want to run.

Run forever till I'm free from the pain,

keep running till I'm all out of breath,

keeping running,

but from my heart, I found you never left.

What were your words then?

Were they just manifested lies?

Everything wasn't real,

why didn't I see it in your eyes?

I told you not to hurt me

because I couldn't take anymore hurt

I wanted to be treated like an angel

but you treated me like dirt.

And the angry ones see red

and they march away into the revolution

and maybe one day they recover,

but I don't do anger so what's my solution?

Thought you cared for me,

you say you still do,

but I'll show you what caring really is

and you'll see you don't really care like I do.

Well written I have felt this pain, yes I don't do anger well.  The solution is to pick yourself up make a better life than he or she could ever give you and be proud you did it without him and despite him.

Your Anguish and pain come blasting forward  and you shall recover in time.  Just watch out for the next jerk, that promises all and deliverers nothing.

Great write
