What Does Love Feel Like?
Like the dew covers
A freshly opened rose
I want to touch your skin
Steer your eyes away
From all the pain
You are still to see

Like the first raindrops
On a dusty old road
I want to soak in your emotions
Heal all the pain your
Eyes have seen

Like a mountain
Covered in mist
I want to close your eyes
Make you happy again
Live inside you
Be your best friend

Like a freshly mowed lawn
Your aroma enters my soul
One tiny kiss
Will take away my thirst
I will never look
At you the same way again

I will drown in your tears
Ride on your smile
Be happy in your laughter
Keep away all the Dragons

This is what I want to do
And I am here right next to you

What does love feel like
The secret is there
inside your eyes

A lot of great romantic images here, Dirk. Lovely writing...I would suggest losing the reference to smelling like cut grass, though.. Hee Hee...len
