Artist Trembling Hands
The aging master artist woke up suddenly
in the middle of his endless night
a beautiful dream about
her once again

He laid there for a moments trying to recapture
seductive eyes and lovely face in his heart within

He walked outside and looked into the starry night
with all of its alluring black velvet wonder
with winking blue stars in flight

Full moon a glow with sparkling stardust that
trickled gently from the moon without a trace

He smiled with happiness and went back inside
and took the massive canvas of white
and started to paint her cameo face

The master artist hand started to tremble
as he tried to recapture her lovely face
from his misty night dream and
his own sighing mind

The woman in his mind was everything he wanted

so long his loneliness heart had been wasted
In his forever darkness of passing empty time

His faithful love for this woman calmed
his shaking older artist hands
 he must now paint

A Masterpiece ....

A lovely piece, my friend, that's the way it is with an artist, can't let up until it's done.
