Fearless Knight
In her night dream,
 She slowly opened the huge
carved weathered wooden  door
to an era of medieval England

A time of jousting between knights,
an era of Lords, elegant Ladies,
and very powerful ruling Kings

A place of high towered stone castles,
with water filled moats and
wooden drawbridges.

Fire breathing dragons creatures
scandalous forbidden loves
that were fought over with
lances and swords of steel

Suddenly She found herself
setting in the thundering arena
 of jousting knights.

Hundreds of cheering happy people
gathered for this tournament
of skill and daring

In the high balcony sits a fair lady
with auburn hair braided up and that
crowned her lovliness with grace

Now two fearless knights
would battle for her royal hand

The unknown Knight
sat proud on his white powerful
steed with silver armor

A ladyís scarf around his neck
the color of silken copper red

 Sir Leopold the Terrible
dressed in the colors of his knight hood
sit's  atop a fiery stallion of
 midnight black

A courtier with flag in hand stands
in-between the two knights,
as he lowers the flag,
both knights horses
rear up pawing the air
in the hot dust of a summer day

Both men snapped shut their visorís
of their helmets as both horses
lunged forward ......

Great  India,
I love this sort of thing. Sir David De Dagenham will wear your favour n the lists and defend your honour against that Black Knight, Sir Dan Der Pieterman :-),

Let the Tourney begin. Cry God for David, Angleland and  Saint George!
