Romance Waits on a Warm Wind
soft clouds mimic
the wide band of pink lace
on miss majesty's ruffled panties
as she steps behind
superstition peaks
at sunrise.

like smoke to face your nightmares,

waits on a warm wind
while I prepare my inner chambers
for you.
Guests arrive with gifts of love;
pink champagne with blackberry sauce,
chocolate wine, bananas foster,
red satin sheets, essential oils

candles flicker
after our guests have gone
you are still caught up in my smile
we sink to our shoulders in bubbles
and I whisper...
"are you gonna kiss me or not?"
