Freedom Is Never Free

For those who believe, it has been said that God gave us free will to think as we want, to say what we will and to do as we desire

With these choices we live as sinners or saints

For those oppressed this is not possible

They are told what to think and what to say but more importantly what to believe in and what not to believe in

If I shall go to heaven or hell I would like to determine that myself by my own words and my own deeds

Right on, bro....It seems to me all the rioting throughout the Middle East stems from many years of living under dictatorships patterned after Nazi Germany...I applaud and respect all those people who risk being shot in the street, getting arrested and tortured, never to be seen again, or if they're lucky, just being beaten to a bloody pulp....len

There is a truth here that has, unfortunately, always been....there has always been those who govern and those who work and die to keep the governers in place.

We call it religeon, patriotism, the Markets etc. and a host of other words to explain the fact that for many thousands of years has been the same.

Still.....we have to keep pointing to the wrongs of this world......Tom.

SO ....Well expressed...... As mortasl  we should should better choices for ourselves and others....

Who goes to heaven or hell that is a choice we should consider with our fath and hope to strive to be some what human with feelings...

All we need to do is to reach out and God is the lighted pathway... To peacefulness in our mind and heart...

The price of freedom is high with its cost!!

Yup .... even for the buttheads who would spit on our soldiers returning from wherever our country sends them.  However, with the choices comes consequences should we chose incorrectly ... or even correctly if we abuse the rights.  Sometimes what is right now may not be right in the long run.  The trick is to be able to see the difference.  Our leaders sure as heck don't seem to get things right very often.

Choice determine what happens in life and for those who believe, the afterlife too. I am thankful to live in a country where choice is not coveted. =))

Very truthful words Steve, I fear for our country and the way things are going because that idependent talk just may get us to heaven quicker than we planned to.
