"Fix me."
I'm sewn together by words you gave me
I keep tugging on this lifeline to save me
but it's also the only thing that's been holding me together lately

I'm unraveling myself just trying to hang on
Daring to clutch to a world gone wrong
While my heart beat ticks to the time of a bomb
-and it's running out fast
  I'm just about to crash
And my airbag's gone.

I reap what I sow
And that's why I sleep in this bed, alone.
Author's Notes:
But next season won't be the same.
Because I've learned to gain my nourishment from the rain
And build my home on broken bones and bricks of shame
With nails of blood and boards of pain

I like them both:

The first seeps with introspection

and the second

rises from the duct of anger with determination.
