Spring Ballerina
April danced across the awakened desert floor
on velvet -petaled ballerina joyous feet
Her silken dress was with ribbons
of pastel flower hues
Distilled a intrigued fragrance of perfume
upon the buoyant tantalizingly breeze
a tapestry of richness to display

You've described April in the desert so well. What with all the flowers it must be a sight to behold. This poem is good enought to be part of a travel log.
