to myself
take me to the promised land shine your light on me
longing for a guiding hand as yet my eyes cant see
i need to run against the wind before my limbs can walk
silver sounds my tongue resinds when i learn to talk
i tender more than i can reap yet grasp beyond my reach
a single step becomes a leap cant practice what i preach
if i deserve the right to live i must rely apon my word
i cannot take before i give and listen or not be heard
