After reading this, my understanding is that you are lonely, and when night falls and every one is silent, that's when the demons of our thoughts kick in.

i thought the poem was darkly lovely and poetic, and final...as if it were the last stanza in a longer piece. i enjoyed your "notes" more, however, the idea of exhaling words from thoughts is an image i have always related to...
