Memories in a Jar
I loved him
He loved me true, now he is gone
 Eighteen years of memories
 collected in a mason jar
Tucked safely within my heart
               For now and always
Author's Notes:
It has been a very long time since I have written, let alone posted.
Short poem about my gentle giant, he is my best friend and always will be..
We lost him last year as a result of a fatal stroke. Bear with me,
words work themselves out and I will be posting more from time to time.
Thanks for reading <3

that makes one strong--
            Sometimes it is letting go..

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend Traci, please accept my condolences. It is good to see you writing though, it helps you to let out emotions that are bottled up inside you. Welcome back to you.  Hugs,  Henry

It's always hard to heal from a loss like him.  Friends are forever.  Remember the good and always cherish it.
