The angel’s shadow in the valley had finally wing in.
A grieving family looks daily for a new world to begin.
For dad left mom to face the loneliness of her night.
Now dad shines like a wishing star in a field of twilight.
Leaving a mortal shell behind to arrived in Gods’ sight.
Dad reaches with both hands from a heavenly height.
Now seeing Beulah land for God made one final request.
Just separated by time and space He knows what is best.
Al found a door in Ruth's heart and opened it too.
She let him look in with an exclusive only view.
He just reached in and pulled all her love through.
Leaving us memories their love was faithfully true.
Together they experience God’s love sent from above.
Everyone around us said they were filled with His love.
We witness first hand daily two heart's' of devotion.
Their soul and heart beat together in one direction.
After the army dad joined up with God’s holy team.
Preaching for years about One who came to redeem.
Dad unburdens his soul saying: "Christ died for our sin.”
He loved his family and all the strangers who walk in.
Oh God we miss dad everyday why did he depart.
We will meet again to cure the ache in our heart.
One day our painful hearts will be joyful and free.
For dad is healed forever we must always believe.
Dad prayed to God we love each other in one last breath.
Time rules only on earth in heaven we will all finally rest.
His life chose a narrow path and many souls Jesus saved
Yes or no to God's love will forever follow to your grave.
Dad the chef flips another pancake with his hand.
Mom we remember it's buckwheat Saturdays again.
Thank God he is now walking on a glorious street.
Where precious gold pavement is our better treat.
