The word CAT should stand for cute and terrific.
They are wonderful animals and I'm being specific.
When you have the love of a pet, it's a great reward.
But when they die, it's like being cut by a sword.
Cats are so precious and I love their soft fur.
It always pleases me when I hear them purr.
They are adorable and dogs are pretty great too.
As you stroke your pet's fur, remember that he or she loves you.

Randy, I have a CAT too.  I rescued her when she was just a tiny kitten and had no strength in her back legs...she's fine now.  I said I wasn't ever going to get another cat because I get too attached to them but when I saw how helpless she was ...I was hooked.  I enjoyed your poem...knew you were an "ole softie"

I've seen dogs abused and beaten but still full of bounce when their owner comes home from work.  They seem to hold no grudges.  I'm both a cat and dog lover, but given the choice, I'd take a dog.  My wife and I have had 15 cats in our 34 years of marriage so I guess we'd count as cat lovers also.  We have just one right now and she is about 15 years old.
Nice poem

Oh...sounds like you lost your pet.  So sad. Nice tribute to your pet Randy.
