Fallen Angel

Fallen angel

Pure white, innocent

Love was so so real

Honesty in everything you feel

That’s the beauty

Before first evil love touches you.

A heart like a sparkling diamond

Golden traces in her voice

Between heaven and hell, maybe there is no choice

Morals and conviction

But his love – an addiction.

And she could still love with a full heart

Brimming with her affection

But she’ll always feel the inflection

Of the way he tainted her heart

The way he painted it black.

And she’s just got to be not scared of it

Scared of the hurt that’s going to come

It’s better than being loveless and numb

Because some guys just don’t know what they’ve got

And against these guys – she just shouldn’t have fought.

Got to hold my head high but there’s a barrier

Sometimes the sky’s falling

And I can feel myself stalling

A white glowing figure falls from the sky

That’s me – a fallen angel.

It sounds as if you've fallen victim to some guys who play the love 'em and leave 'em game. Hold your head up high and carry the knowledge that you're worth more than that and that there is somebody out there who will realize that you're love is worth having.   Henry
