Our Spirits
Should I ask did our struggling spirits turn
the cold night breeze into a snarling wind
that tore us both to pieces my dear
Has it blown us like lingering clinging dust
to the very depth of parched desert valleys
mother nature is so very clear
We never conspired or practised mutiny
why do we feel this tormenting hell
Shall we remain happy and enjoy this intoxicaion
or to live in this consuming flame of soberness
 with flourished awareness love dwell
Shed not your masculine discouraged tears
or the emptiness of seperation fears

Very intriguing. I'll try and read some more later today with more time on my hands. But I definitely liked this. Keep it up! ~W~

We are but what we are, with out the dogs of time to bite our heels, we take life as we live it, and what follows is what we suffer, love is all but it to has consequences~Graham

I like that line so much, it has a feel about it that is almost heartbreaking, you're an amazing poet that is able to touch my heart with each word , seperating emotion from actions of feel. Great piece of work :]
