~ Tempation ~

Fabian Perez - Collar de Perlas

Piano music plays as softly as a summer breeze
her thoughts are tangled in his nudging whispers
he was such a charming tease

Red wine was persuasive in her temptation veins
she wanted to hear his distant voice
such a burning desire remains

He was temptation she just could not resist
Her hungry lips wanted his passionate kiss

She knew she was only another blazing flame
But for the rest of her life she would
whisper only his name

Wow! This is awesome! In my opinion, the conclusion of a poem is what differentiates a good one form a bad one.  Your final verses are:

She knew she was only another blazing flame
But for the rest of her life she would
whisper only his name

For me, these words left a telling aftertaste and one I could relate to.  I too have had a lover who's name I continue to whisper.

Again, excellent; I loved everywhere word.  I look forward to reading more of your poems...and thank you for your kind words "She Whispers".

Smooth ... I like this very much.  "her thoughts are tangled in his nudging whispers"  This line especially.  Women do that to men also.
Very nice
