The voice you want to hear
that never comes
The things for you've worked so hard
that come undone
The person you want to see
that never shows
The pain you never want to feel
that is always known
The familiar smell of cologne
that is near when we kiss
The slightly-salty taste
that is my lips
The ultimate jump for joy
that is success
The overwhelming sadness
that means you're depressed
The endless strength
that you're trying to find
The abundant helplessness
that you try to hide
The hopeless love
that you want to feel
The anger and hate
that assures you're real
I am all these unwanted
seldom-found things

My kind of poem, touches well upon the daily thoughts that plague the mind.
