Moon climbs defining the menace of possibilities
whims, and spontaneity of the could be's
filling the desert sands with silver,
each a glint, a sparkle; reflection.
Of what all the stars have been trying to say
for so long and longer still.
The cacti now drowsy, tired from the days heat
standing up arched in perfect sight.
Stubborn as time, the time that ticks speaking quietly
all alone in contemplation, its memory melancholy
but never naive.
The grey clouds circle, crowding together.
Weeks, months, years arrive....
heaving with the wind and coming out stronger with blows
revolving life as it comes and as it goes.
