weak as my prey
i feel the will of the wolf taking over me
dawn to dusk, i can feel it move
out of body, out of body
as the beast insist, it can now exist
we are one in the same
a curse i do not wish away
feel the power, feel the power flowing through my veins
yes i swear i smell the weakness on you
taste the blood, taste the fear
make you feel my pain, make you feel my pain
we are one in the same
are you as weak as my prey
the sun will die, the moon exposed
this human skin will decompose
the curse of lycan seals my fate
i live to kill another day
Author's Notes:
i took over vocal duties for a band called Mourn No More. they had a song called Weak As My Prey that no one knew the lyrics too. the original singer had written it and i was aware that the theme had something to do with a werewolf. writing about werewolves seemed kinda ridiculous to me, but i was up for the challenge. i basically used the title and the music as inspiration. tried to make it as poetic as possible, and tried not to be too straightforward about the subject matter. i never wrote a second verse, so when performing i just loop the first. if something strikes me i'll be sure to update it. evidence that i am capable of structured, reasonable writing.

I really like it a great deal.  I like the beat, I wish I could hear the voice a little more clearly.  i love the music even though it's not usually my thing, but I am always open for new and different things.  I liked both the poem and the music, I truly hope you make another recording.
