Why I Love You

For the joy you impart with a word or a smile

For walking with me the extra mile

For finding my worth on the inside

For coaxing out the child that hides

For seeing love in a soul that is stripped

For mending tears in a heart that is ripped

For teaching me trust when doubt overrules

For laughing for hours like two silly fools

For giving more, though your body is tired

For being patient when I become wired

For being a song when I forget how to sing

For removing life’s thorns, soothing the sting

For writing rhymes that inspire mine

For rebuilding my ruins time after time

For plucking a dandelion yet smelling a rose

For appreciating me from my head to my toes

For sharing love from a heart overflowing

For filling me up until I am glowing

For the man that you are, for all that you do

These reasons Travis are why I love you

Well Mis Prim I see that your affections are very short lived. A dramatic night rescue on the beach counts for nothing when a smooth talking Southerner appears on the scene. Actions speak louder than words! Now you must choose between an actor and the acter.

Yoour Admirer,

Mr Pernickety
