This Message Will Self-Destruct
Her beauty bled out from corroded veins

The colours now mourning turned to dust and greyed

Palpitation is negative. Her heart has atrophied

The body's long gone cold but still finds a way to bleed

Her lips are barely moving, her words have grown discreet

She takes her final breath, nothing's ever tasted oh so sweet

She whispers in my ear something that she tried so hard to keep

"This message will self-destruct when you hear the beep"

Your imagination and creative repertoire are impresive beyond description.  This is a very clever and, even in the presence of seemingly layered paradoxes, the thoughts are understandable even to an old dork like me...  A really interesting poem about the dangers of romantic involvement with the wrong woman for sure.  Nice work.  Tristan
