Covering Myself
My Texas land is finally peaceful  now
all bad thoughts that attacked
have departed from me

Every living thing is in
harmony with me now

My voice sings a wisdom chorus
within me
turning my vision
towards the joyous sky

The appearance of peacefulness
in the distance of my remaining years

Our lives are endless simply threads
pulling along lasting emotions

I cover myself with time

Time does have a way of healing our hurts, doesn't it?  Glad the old you is back.  Though I have to admit, the other you wrote some pretty good poems too.

Oft times, dear India, we see the storm clouds, the lightning and the slashing rain that comes to your world....In this piece, however, it is quiet, peaceful, serene and feels comfortable around your aura of your soul...There is a satisfaction that comes from knowing that all is "right with the world" and one can communicate with their own heartbeat....Seek your "totem" and become the Raven that you really are within....

Peace and Light to you, my friend....

Lady old, old butterfly...

Hmmm, love this one...I could feel the moment and the sounds of the outdoors and you, standing and fully happy...thanks for sharing your garden of words.
