As We Stagnate
The ice is almost gone
As scarlet drips the dawn
We taste the frozen air
And kneel before despair
These days will melt away
Passed over by the hands
Of clocks who count decay
And rule these foreign lands
Be still, and see the sky
Be skinned and swallowed by
Horizon's slurred embrace
And Mother's moon-pale face
Let no soul come you near
Nor dare to rouse your heart
Let never truth appear
Nor we three ever part
