A Love Restored

True love shares the hearts’ inner hue.
Darkness no longer has adversity rule.
Rainbow rays parted displays a striking view.
Pain relief measured out by combining two.

Earthquake fault lines reveal crumbling words.
Warm love flew south with all the songbirds.

Theater of the absurd showcases a tarnished jewel.

Surviving a reign of terror with totalitarian rule.

Past tainted promises left no faith in you.
Kisses now lightly dip in allegiance of two.
Rainbow ends converge to make us whole.
Healed now by sharing a kindred soul.

Loves brush strokes canvas existing scars.
No more a reality TV show of the bizarre.
Hearts drawn in sand wash back to shore.
Goodbye to pretending and hearing "Whore!"

P.S.
The candle of my soul was relit by one spark from you.

Our 8th wonder of the world is now a private Smithsonian view.

Author's Notes:

Well I didn't want to published this one. Sincerely wrestle with it couple nights after writing it.. I believe poetry is a forum to heal. Enough pain already planted in peoples hearts with roots so deep and strong. Can love really canvas those scars? I believe true love will start the healing process. Our search as poets is to pen the cure for all. Thank you had to make a change at the end with a p.s.
