Who am I ?

carnival of thoughts run wildly through my mind,

Of the most beautiful and peaceful place and time.

When our indulgent love was born on a prairie wind,

Upon fortunes of gold our bodies and soul where akin

You fluorescent glow has shown on me for billions of years

In my heartland you have witness the triumphs joys and the tears.

So many of the small voices within me will quarrel, scream and fight.

While elephants, horses and caribou sing and dance with such delight.

My existence is forever secure by your bodyís magnetic rays on my loving core.

My ever loving wish is that always together we shall remain, years a billion more

I continue to always cherish sleeping with the moonlight on my body on open waters,

So donít play for eternity with my heart, do remember I never cease to sleep in both quarters.

Author's Notes:

caribou   carnival   fluorescent   heartland    secure     cherish   magnetic    quarrel

don't play_______ with my heart.       fortunes of gold       born on a prairie wind

Forever grateful to Linda Jo for the lending me the word bank.

I fixed the typos and added a line. It was late when i wrote it.  The title was so named because I was hoping the reader would try to guess who or what I was talking about.

oh Tina, I am so happy you have recorded this piece...your voice is so melodious  and so intriguing to listen to...who am I?  is it the earth and its relationship with the sun and moon?  It also carries a symbolic meaning to me...the heigth, breadth and depth of human love born on a prairie wind. A great poem can have a variety of meanings in the reader's mind.  loved the poem...loved the recording!

Tina this was perfect! I actually closed my eyes and after reading it twice, I let it absorb in my thoughts for a bit.. Your chose of words to match this was fab and done in such a way to bring forth a real winner of a  piece that was not only beautiful, but absolutely divine..

Like Wow!

After listening to several of your audios I could read this poem with your voice in my mind...You really did a fine job with the chosen words...I love the idea of carnival thoughts running wild inside your mind...and your indulgent love being born on a prairie wind.  The poem flows really well and the last line is great!  Even tho I can hear this recited in my mind...it would be super if you added it to you most expressive audios!  thanks for taking up the word bank challenge...great job!  ♥
