The Musician

Sing me into midnight,
warm arms around me.
Jeweled sky and damp sheets
Nestled, safe, secure;

I will be the figurehead
as we float into tomorrow.
Never wooden
I break all the rules.
Kiss me in the darkness
for heaven is amongst us now.
I have waited a lifetime
to know this
highly strung,
beautiful music.

Ali, I'm really getting into reading you and getting lost in it.  This is habit-forming.  I can't seem to want to write -- just to read since there is so much here.  I'm really enthralled by the way you mix metaphors and wander so easily into and out of seemingly paradoxical thoughts that turn into such descriptive creations --  I guess these artistic flairs are yours to paint with your words or sing with your colours for all of us to enjoy... at least the ones of us with eyes to hear and ears to see.  I'm enjoying your work.  Take care.  Tristan

Wow Ali a night of deep red blooded passion indeed! Beautiful and such thought provoking enjoyment and simple beauty yet full rich life that sinks into those satin sheets until midnight fades away unlike the moment.

Bless for sharing once again.
