The Epic of Luke the Puppy - part 6 & 7 - His Master's Voice & Bad Boy!

His Master’s Voice

Strange sounds fill Luke’s air.

Head cocked in quizzical stare.

Daddy’s odd singing.

Bad Boy!

Cell phone, camera,

File folders, new shoes, table legs.

All fall prey to Luke.

Author's Notes:
Luke caught me singing - he thought it odd....
and yes, he's doing that destructive stuff puppies tend to do - but he's somewhat creative (sorry, mr. taxman, but my dog ate my income tax filings.....)

A lady I know said that her puppy likes to chew on the computer cord.  I wonder if that Jalapeño juice thing would work for him also.  Damon

If only the tax-man would accept that excuse, we would all get a pup every year about Jan. or Feb. and keep it at least until April 16.  Great work.

Daddy? Oh how endearing! Were you singing a lullabye to your baby? *smiles* Oh never mind me....I'm just teasing you because I know you can handle it. I knew "Bad Boy" was coming...chew chew chew...again...not a train! *lmao* You've done a great job sharing your experiences...but ummm...give me fair warning if you are ever going to start to sing. (hehehehe) Great stuff!! Loved these!

I searched online because my puppy, was chewing the woodwork in our aprartment.. I didn't want to lose my security deposit so I went online and found that jalepeno juice dipped on a rag then placed on the woodwork will detour him from biting it. I was worried about that, but By golley he didnt even lick my woodwork anymore. no more chew marks and my puppy is still only 5 mos old. but what may work for me may not work for you. I definatly treat him like a baby and I freeze rags and let him chew em.

and Andrew sing on bro!  maybe he will sing with you one day!

these are like lil journals to yourdogs and your life.

Ha, some how I doubt the tax man will be too sympathetic.  I love that you've kept yoursense of humor through all the chewing.  Great job on these.  They were lots of fun to read.

Green apple spray, water squirt bottle and lots of chew toys and bones to chew on.  He might be teething.  You can take a wash cloth dip it in water and put it in the freezer to freeze. If they are teething chewing on the frozen rag will feel good to his aching teeth or just ora gel.  Cool poem.  He chooses the expensive items to chew on!  He is a bad dog!

Andrew:  new puppies always remind us that Life is funny and that new puppies love to disrupt.
