The Epic of Luke the Puppy - part 4 & 5 The Pack and Call of the Wild

The Pack

Cautious sniffs and pokes

Alpha status is at stake.

Old dog accepts new.

Call of the Wild

Blustery winds blow

Snow in heaps shoveled away

Luke makes yellow snow.

Author's Notes:
Brandy the Lab has accepted Luke the Mutt into the Pack
3 feet of snow in one week creates housebreaking challenges - but so far, so good!

Ha!  Very funny.  Luke was probably very impressed for changing the snow's color.  This are really fun.  I know the "dog blog" was a joke, but maybe you should!  I'd read it.  Great job on this.

I took my old dog a real while to accept a new one...but eventually they got along.
Love the pics.

Cool poems!  Glad to see Brandy is accepting Luke now.  It's hard when I new dog comes to your block.  Don't want to lose your footing and love in the home.  Yes, snow and rain aren't the best conditions for house training unless you have dogs with water proof coats like huskies or saint bernards or newfoundlands.  Lot's of yellow snow that's not lemon scented either! Ha!

Andrew:  new dogs are always a fun challenge.  Glad the older one is accepting the new ones.
