Evening Heat

The sun slips down to the horizon in a slow deliberate manner

Spears of gold and crimson light pierce your white cotton dress

Walking toward me the curves your body are carefully outlined

Time slows down and my desire for you rushes through me like lightening

The sun drops on a warm summer night just has your dress softly falls

Your fragrance precedes you as it touches my senses I am in a trance

You carefully pirouette around while I am slowly turning with you

I am helpless to move as your lips whisper…do you want me…do you want me now

No more words are spoken as we meld together in the evening heat
