Miss Mary Jane

Hello Miss Mary Jane,
I said. I want a lover, will you be mine?
Tonight after dinner we can wake the sleepy streets
And brighten their crying eyes.

Don't stop for a second Miss Mary,
Take my hand and we can dine.
I've spent my money on delusion though
So grab the waiter's cheapest caviar.

I hold you in my two fingers;
A tissue you trail your essence behind
I said. surround me, capture me;
You did not dissapoint

Feeling your wet kisses on my eyelids.
Smiling not only with my lips.
Holding you close to me Mary Jane.
Night air is cold. I'm immune to it all.

I've met you before Mary Jane
Thoughts stumble but retrace you.
I can't touch you the way you touch me,
Only feel you, watch you, disperse.

that mary jane can be quite a mistress - nice job telling this tale of a somewhat twisted love affair
