What is your secret obsession and what made it become an obsession for you? (It won't be secret anymore if you are willing to admit to it so think carefully!)

I'm obsessed with the paranormal  or ghosts.  I could just read or watch programs all day to learn more about them.  I'm so completely obsessed!

Twilight! I know, I know... "I'm like such a random teenage girl..."  The problem just comes in that I am a grown woman of 30...  LOL  I fell in love with the story, the world, the characters and the perfect impossible love. I am a total romantic at heart and my very innocent, totally irrational, mostly naive dreamy and wishful view of love and life are very real and very perfect conveyed in the books and movies, for my utopia picture not to be obsessed about it.  And of course it fuels another obsession of mine - Vampires!  But that altogether is a WHOLE other discussion... LOL

I also think Gene's obsession is really cool.

Don't know where eccentricities start and obsessions begin, but I love digging, usually simple gardening and such.  However, I have a very strong compunction not to harm earthworms, which tends to lenghthen rather simple tasks.  Also, along those same lines, I must dig around every rock and dislodge it, for hope that a now,  not secret treasure lies beneath.  And I'm talking about large rocks that previous gardeners and excavators said, "Just leave it, no one will ever know it's there".  I certainly relate to Dean's comment, and applaud Andrew's honesty.

Whenever I eat multiples of any thing, pretzels, pieces of pop corn, pieces of candy, nuts, I most always eat them in numbers that are squares of another number.  4's, 9's, 16's, 1's.  I don't know why I do it, but I am conscious about doing it.  Just seems like the thing to do to me.

my secret obsession is... being alone in the forest, and taking the road less traveled, to discover new places I've never been and to think of myself as the only man to have ever laid eyes upon the places I visit, for this reason I go out of season, when no one is in the woods and I am utterly  ALONE..
