God Must Hate Haiti

Inspired by a preacher friend of mine

All that death
All that destruction
How could there by any doubt
Not that nice a place to vist to begin with
Now for sure would't wanna live there
The place and the people are cursed
Every last man, woman and child

Why he don't like 'em
Why the savior has 'em on his hit list
Who can really say
Who can guess
Certainly none of the experts would dare
To step a true opinion forward
Seems only this lady poet really has the guts to say

Sometimes things happen for a reason
The bad don't always get away with what they do
And yes sadly enough
That means sometimes even the good have to get screwed
It's all just part of this thing he made called life
Natural fact
Some of 'em might have deserved the horror that came

Hate me if you will
Threaten and leave hateful, nasty comments
I'll take whatever comes
Knowing at least that I was't a coward
Knowing at least this much for sure
I had the balls to tell the truth

Which is more than I can say for most of you people in this screwed up world of ours

You'll write anything to get a rise out of people, won't you! I know your type...negative attention is better than no attention at all.

I would say welcome back but I don't lie. This poem is offensive in the extreme and shows no humanity at all but then it is just your usual. You asked for  detailed critique and you have got it.

Hate me if you will
Threaten and leave hateful, nasty comments
I'll take whatever comes
Knowing at least that I was't a coward
Knowing at least this much for sure

No Ramona...that's not courage..that's dellusion

Read this.  Don't read this.  Up to you.   I read your beliefs, these are mine.

Personally, my God is a God of love, not hate.  You are not the person that needs the talking to, to get you straightened out.  Your preacher is.  If he teaches this kind of attitude to his parishioners, then he needs to have his beliefs straightened out before he screws up more people.  If he inspires this belief in you, he will be the one to be held responsible for his teachings.
By what you say, every man, woman and child that are sending these people aid are guilty of helping a cursed nation.  They would also be held responsible for this action.  No!  God put us here to love and teach His lessons to all.  We are told, "Judge not least ye be judged."   God is the only one with the full knowledge of these people and is the only one in a position to judge.  Is your preacher setting himself above the authority of God?   When our time on earth is done we will be going home to Him.  Death is a part of living.  Who is God blessing right now?  The people going home to Him, or the people still on this earth and having to live with the horrors we see. It's over for many of them,  but these memories will be with the rest of us forever.  Maybe this is a warningt to the rest of us ... not a punishment to the people of Haiti.  Maybe the failing ... is in us.  We haven't spread God's message to them.

I prefer to send these people my love, not hateful statements.  I prefer to follow Christ's example of forgiveness, not use a position of leadership to spread hate.  Although God has given us our personal agency, He has also given us the responsibility to teach His words correctly.  Your preacher will be judged for what he is teaching, not be me or anyone on earth, but by a much higher authority.

I wont leave a hateful comment , that's not my style, but I will have to disagree, if so true that God hates haiti, then by the same token he must hate the usa also, esp. new orleans, and the poor people affected by the tsunami, and  the famine ridden countries in africa, and so on and so on . no my dear it was an act of mother nature that hit haiti, and in my eyes, MY God doesn't hate, He is a God of love, and God bless the people of haiti , and help them ...
