Test Pattern Blindness
Give unto me
Your best device for the deceit and I will
Run far away
To the limelight which engulfs all and I will
Breathe in relief
Beyond all belief

Give unto me
Your best advice for the reasons untold, then
Run far away
To the journalists eager to tell us and then
Find no relief
Sigh in disbelief

Lights on, bring on the news attack
Hold on, news broke so bring it back
We're delighted you could join us
Please take your thinking caps off

Lights out, take out the truth trash
Fade out, the pan held another flash
Please tune in next time for more
And wear your rose-colored glasses

Do unto others
All you think should be done to demean while
Under the rug
Are the problems we face but never face while
We count the sheep
Awake but asleep

Do unto others
All new links made held together with lies and
Under the rug
Stirs the untreated disease without a cure and
We are the sheep
Fall into sleep

Dig in the garden with seeds of hope
Reel in reality with a frayed rope
Tell all the others to head inside
For your dose of deceit is on the air

Dig out the buried progress you hid
Head out to see the news van skid
A crash, as you wait at your new TV
And the world is still rose colored
