San Jose Mission
Growing up
Coming from a old West Texas town
where there are no old missions

I was always looking for very old
churches or missions when
ever I traveled as a
young woman

I always loved to draw and paint
so I would try to capture the
old building structures

Then later with a camera
I started taking a mountain of pictures
of old barns ...windmills and antique cars
anything that was very old

Then started taking more pictures
of rugged mountains and deserts
all over the united states

I went to California a few years back
and had the pleasure of going
through old missions a dream
That came true

Missions are fun to visit and there's so much history to learn from them. Your picture of  the San Jose Mission is outstanding.

Loved hearing your story, the images of you with a paint brush as you sat and painted.. I am a big fan of anything old and from times way back when so this really made me smile...

Nice She...
