My name is....
My name is heartbreak
A shattered broken mess
My world could have perished
I wouldn't have cared less
Heartache and teardrops
Were awash within my soul
There was no assuring voice
To make me feel whole
Then appeared a blessed angel
Who only said "Hello"
From that one simple word
True love started to grow
Now her I can't live without
Love has grown so strong
My heart no longer breaks
Because to her I now belong
For her my heart is thankful
To the heavens above
Because of her I now know
My name is love

This is a wonderful piece Henry!

Full of emotional depth to appreciate...

You did a really good job contrasting the sorrow with joy....Well done!

you have covered alot of ground here taking your feelings from the depth of heartbreak to the peaks of!  to wear the name, Love...obviously a gift to you but one that is equally shared.

Quite a transition from "heartbreak" to "love"  - I like this one so very much...

Oh, WOW, Henry, this is so beautiful! Anyone that can change someone's name from "heartbreak" to "love" has indeed reached into the depths of your soul...and I can say that you've reached just as deeply into HER soul...and did the same thing for her.

A beautiful piece of your heart and soul on display here...a treasure of a write!

A great big hug...and what a beautiful way to give your thanks on this Thanksgiving!

Glata...wearing a big, sappy grin :o)
