Don't Wait
If you have a father still living,
love him and tell him so.
His heart will beat joyfully,
  to your hearts passionate glow.
Don't wait till tomorrow,
  your words might arrived late.
His soul may depart tonight,
  to brighten heavens gate.
Today is another opportunity;
you could lose your chance again.
To say the words "I love you",
to your father and best friend.
Todays' words will vanish,
  into time and outer space.
But the memory of loving words past
will always be within your grasp.
There is Father of us all,
who sits in a heavenly place.
My father heard Him call,
  and now beholds His face.
Daddy didnít preach in vain.

"You got to run this race."

"Sin will give you pain."

"God will give you grace."

Such a wonderful tribute to a man who influenced your life very much.  Wonderful words.  My father always says to me:  "Do it no, don't wait" on just about everything.  He is right - Lovely.  Thank you for sharing this. ~Pamela
