She trusted him explicitly,
this awesome girl of seventeen;
Never in her wildest dreams,
did she think he could be mean.
Always feeling safe with him,
she never had a clue;
That he would take advantage of,
this flower, fresh and new.
He often took her here and there,
by means of his old car;
And on this night he made a pass,
but didn't get too far.
In bewilderment she told him no,
she felt so used and raped;
And when this man persisted,
she made her quick escape.
Still haunted by the memories,
she'll ne'er forget that night;
She sheds a tear when evening falls,
her heart still filled with fright.
