God's Trail of Bread Crumbs

Through the storm surviving life's endless day
I heard an commanding inner voice say.
How about that blue sky
Bluer than ocean wide
How about that storm outside
Follow by a rainbow to see

Any of My bread crumbs should set your heart at ease.

How about forgiveness when you need it
Sinners greatest gift.
How about your best friend Jesus
Who gave His life for thee
Any of My bread crumbs should set your heart at ease.

When you talk to God who watches over you
He answers, ďI will never leave your side.Ē
Leaving a peace that helps you to survive
He forgives your sin and sets you free
Any of My bread crumbs should set your heart at ease.

You heard it in a sermon
You felt it in a heart beat
You touch it in the hand of your love
You saw it your first baby's smile
Any of my bread crumbs should set your heart at ease.

How about Your mother crying tears

Saying prayers that took away her years
Everyone but you saw her sacrifice
Your trail began with Me redeeming her life

Any of My bread crumbs should set your heart at ease.

All of these lately have been invisible as He

To me it seems like forever or eternity
The trail never ends concerning His love for thee
You will remember in your span of life too
Someone had left a bread crumb trail for you.

Donít wait till heavensí gate to set your heart at ease

Donít wait for the rocks to praise with song

But find the hand that left the bread crumb

Is all that you ever need

So follow that bread crumb trail left by Me

At the end of it youíll find eternity.

How I envy your devotion and your confidence of God's saving love.  Yes tear's filled my eyes, who I wish I could feel and believe your understanding of God's presence, forgiveness and love.

Beautifully written.

Dear Dan-
Yeah I'm always getting lost on that trail because those darn
birds come along every now and then that eat part of the bread crumbs.
So I have to rely on my faith that God won't let me wander so far off the
trail that I'll get lost and not find my way back.
He just expects me during those times to follow my heart.
And I gotta admit, He's helped get me to this point-LoL!
Best Wishes to You and Yours My Friend~
