Just Fly Away

Swiftly cold rivers churn by the maidian feet
as she looks up to see a eagle snatch
up his fish breakfast for the day

She wishes she could fly so high above
 the majestic painted canyons walls
 into the tangerine dawning light
and just fly away

India, I love this type of write about nature and the indians.  I don't remember if I ever told you, but I am part Cherokee myself.  Unfortunately, I don't know what percent.  Great work my friend.  Damon

With pride of our people this came forth. So much meaning inside.. They are within your spirit my friend, as they shall always remain.. This was perfection!
