Tomorrow
Someone's Tomorrow

What are these nightly ghosts
That dither and taunt
Like snakes they wriggle
In a world they haunt
What makes me think
I am better.

Right to the point John. If you have a line break after "I am better" and then include "He knows" in the poem it may give the poem the sense of direction you hoped for. I have no idea of whom "He" refers to but my first impression was that it was God. Of course it could be a reference to another man knowing something and that now gives you nightmares. This is laced with an abundance of mystery and I wanted to know (at least) a little more...

I liked this . What does make me think I am better?  The answer  your right is He knows. Loved it . Always Maggie.
