Echos of Time
I've been lost,
walking down Darkend passagways
Staring at Pictures
That Fade into Nothingness
as I walk on past.
I've seen Picture after Picture,
in Corridor after Corridor,
In the Labyrinth of Times Past.
I've been lost,
in the Echos of Time.
Author's Notes:
i wrote this poem about a dream i had several years ago. in the dream i was walking through a darkend museum looking at the artwork that make up my memories. memories of me that didnt happen in this lifetime even. in that dream, i never found my way out, but the further i got, the bloodier and more gruesome the pictures became. and as i walked past each one they faded into nothingness so i couldnt even try to back-pace my self

Interesting...You have given us the glimpse of the way in which you 'don't' want to see yourself.. Writing about a dream oft times is difficult, because we want to get the reader to see what we saw...
You did well...
