Morse Code
Another platitudinous fight
Another lie
I'll end this today

You want this to continue
I should have seen through you

You realized I was right
And you try
To go on another day

Your intentions not genuine
Why did I even let you back in?

I am ending this
You will hear this

Another loud call
With no reply
At least not for me

You held on unconsciously
So now I'm finally setting you free

I won't take the fall
Just let it die
So unceremoniously

No adjective could describe
This love story just a useless diatribe

No longer regret
Was your inaction

Love, your way of saying
Nothing at all
You speak it so well

I remember all that you said
Your senses took leave of your head

Those words are replaying
In my mind
Yet I could never tell

Were you really on my side?
Or lurking the shadows you now reside?

Cease infatuation
My new inebriation
Now pragmatic
I've finally had it.
