This world holds so few perfedtions.
Broken homes, and torn families,
litter the space like ,
difficult puzzle pieces.
Weeping hearts and missing fractured,
hearts hide deeper and deeper,
in the puzzled mess!
When I see you though,
my mind remembers so,
how beautiful ,
it once was put together.
There were bold and brilliant colorings .
The cracks were all filled.
It was whole ,amazing, and perfect.
Suddenly and unexpected,
the puzzle was moved,
and sorrowfuly unpreserved.
Broken and scattered,
and pieces of our souls lost and missing.
We slowly put it back together,
but our lives just aren't all there.
The pieces no longer match.
The love, admiration, and perfection ,
now holds scars, dimples, and imperfections.
Author's Notes:

I enjoyed this poem so much I feel like I should pay you for it. But since it's free to enjoy I'll just run away with a smile the kool-aid man would find hard to match. Keep up the beautiful writes~

i appreciated the insight that went into this piece.  life as a puzzle but one taken apart and put back together again. perhaps to also mean when our children grow up and leave our nest they put their own puzzle together as they wish even tho they use the same family puzzle pieces. this is beautifully written. shee
