"How to Love a Lady"

dedicated to Veronica Lake

"How to Love a Lady"

How to love a lady
may be brash of me to say
but let me take a moment,
just a moment, & put it this way.

Lady, I love you
more than words can ever say,
more than life, its passing fancies
or dreams that fade away.

"And in a field of hopes & tethers,
let's throw our cares away,
to catch a glimpse forever,
of a long, forgotten day."

Yes, lady, I love you
more than words can ever say
more than life, its passing fancies,
more than dreams that fade away.

NOTE
Brevity is the soul of conversation.
A lady gives it heart.
And
"Heart & Soul"
is the way to say,
"Lady, I love you".
