I saw the words you said
Something wrong within my head

I heard the things I see
So beautiful, what could it be?

I tasted your caress
These senses fall to such distress

Enter my mind, sweet thing
These sensations that you bring
Cross between but multiply

I wish to feel this right
Sounds enter my ears so bright
A confusion I can't defy

Erase this bitter disarray
Make this confusion go away
Just speak those words

I'll feel what you send
The right sense I will pretend
But you're still being heard.

This feels like an affliction
Your ways have become an addiction

If my eyes see what I hear
I'll never shut them when you are near

And if my ears sense beauty
Speak your peaceful words into my ear

If I ever felt this way
I could never make them stay
They would not understand

Don't ever leave my side
This affliction I can't hide
Just stay and take my hand

I'll see what you will feel
A sensation intense and so unreal
Stay on my side tonight

All that matters to me
Are these senses finally set free
By the sweet sounds of your sight.

Really enjoyed this peep into the condition. I know of someone who has it and it has always fascinated me.
