Little Ellie's Hair Cut
Little Ellie...
Had adorable long black hair...
Hair darker than the darkest raven...
Everyone loved to play with her hair...
And treat her like a baby doll...
Little Ellie's mom was so mean...
"Time for a hair cut," she told Little Ellie...
"No!" Little Ellie cried.
Little Ellie loved her hair very much...
This could not happen...
Struggle and fight she must...
"If you stay still, I'll buy you more toys," her mom bribed.
It's not fair, Little Ellie thought...
Now she must choose...
Between cute and pretty hair...
And more toys...
The next day everyone had to ask...
"What happened to your hair?!"
Little Ellie held her new toy close...
And pointed a finger at dear mom...
"It's all her fault!" Little Ellie cried.
Author's Notes:

This is based on another true childhood story. Everyone loved my hair when I was little and one day my mom cut it down to my shoulders! I was upset and everyone missed my hair.

Touching and true, I love my hair too... Dreds to my back and the military a month away... Still no idea what I'll do but trying to figure out a way into the Airforce with dred-locks is like sneaking a 20-foot tall statue of Buddha into a synagogue...
