Heavens Tapestry

May the warm perfume breeze tune my heart
with vibrant melody chords watching
wild flowers and tall grasses dance
in their gracefulness

There is just something about Spring
so native to my
eyes with soft greens
silver tall maples my spirit thrills
with faithfulness beauty

Soon Autumn with her rusty reds and gold cloak
across the vastness of mountains
and changing meadows where she runs
with her mystic tapestry against
the landscape’s hush

My thoughts run deep like a pastel haze
in the horizon
watching the shimmering
evening hues
with gold –fringed clouds
that curtain
this endless heaven tapestry

What colorful scenes you bring to mind. Autumn appeals to my sense of beauty, but Spring does something to my heart. You're so right; "There is just something about Spring." ML
