If you were fully awake when this happened I'd say the experience is an indication of something significant. Your body is trying to tell you something--perhaps it isn't anything physical--maybe your sub-conscious speaking. Search for understanding John. Be well!

Nothing like feeling trapped inside yourself, huh? Things like this happen rarely to most of us, and the biggest part of the population never experience it, but when it happens, it's wild!

That must be the most scariest feeling ever. My friend also described getting that, it is like your brain wakes up before your body and you are conscious but cant move. Damn, I can think it was horrible! Hope it doesn't happen again.

Hm...don't know what that is...but if it happens again maybe you should see a doctor~
Sounds very scary...
Actually...my mom told me that happened to her...and she died of a heart attack not too long after...
she was 48!

I have experienced this literally hundreds of times startuing at age 18. It starts with paralysis.....then it gets interesting...;-0
