That First Breath
Today I breathed in a magestic scent
that carried itself accompanied by the wind
it whispered stories of devine moments
as it gently diffused through my body
I made a choice
I took one steady step,
no longer was I at crossroads
I wish words could capture the moment
tie the peace I felt with a silk ribbon
of pure white, what a sight,
I wish you had seen
yesterday I breathed the same scent,
that today was the heavenly fuel to my spirit
and I wish you could be here to see
my feet running down my road
that I should have travelled years ago
but I can never again feel exhaustion
there is so much to see with my own eyes
I am in no hurry though.
My whole spirit breathing with ease

Dear Mahala-
My Dear Friend-
I can remember back a few years ago, You would leave a random comment
here and there on my writing-
But here's the thing-
Today it was You who made me think-
Because each step we take is based upon the direction we choose to make-
So when we face the crossroads there are no road maps-
And in the end who we see is who we could be,
allowing us to go back and choose the path we should have let our heart
decide in the first place-
Or let the cards lay exactly where they are-
Because we have an unmeasurable lifetime to figure it out-
Best Wishes to You and Yours My Friend~
